Hi, I'm Alice.

I offer online and telephone counselling to clients across Canada.

I believe that connection is what helps us to heal and grow. My practice is based on building an authentic connection with you in order to help you become empowered to reach your goals.

I grew up in England but have travelled and lived all over the world. I moved to Canada in my early twenties and lived in urban Ontario for several years before relocating to a small rural town in Northern BC. My wife and I moved to Vancouver Island in 2019, and love exploring its beauty by hiking with our dogs, going on road trips and camping whenever possible. In my downtime, you'll find me in the kitchen experimenting with new plant-based recipes, sipping hot chocolate while snuggled up with my dogs, playing music and spending time with loved ones.

I am grateful to live, work and play on the unceded traditional Epekwitk Mi'kmaq and Snuneymuxw territories , and I use she/her pronouns. I pride myself on providing a welcoming, positive, and knowledgeable space for LGBTQ2S+, BIPOC, HIV+, Neuro-diverse, SW, Kink, and Poly folks.

My areas of focus are:

- Gender and Sexuality

- Sex, Intimacy and Relationships

- Couples and Partners

- Neuro-diversities and Disabilities

- Self Esteem and Body Confidence

I have a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Education, Postgraduate in Communicative Disorders and Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology.

I also have professional training in:

- Gottman Couples Therapy

- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for Couples

- Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)

- ASIST Suicide Prevention Training

- CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention

- Autism Spectrum Disorder (BI)

- Life Coaching (Certified Life Coach)

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC) and a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA).
